Belfast Duo CHALK Drops New Single "Get F*cked" Ahead of Tour Highlights

On 2 July 2026, Belfast’s CHALK released the hard‑hitting single “Get Fcked,” accompanied by a punchy music video. The track marks the duo’s first new music since their debut album Crystalpunk*, which came out earlier in the year.

The song was engineered by Irish electronic DJ Kettama (Evan Campbell), who first crossed paths with CHALK in 2024 during a Village Underground show in London. Both artists admired each other’s work, and Kettama helped turn a rough demo into the polished final product. Although the track was originally slated for Crystalpunk, it was held back until the collaboration with Kettama brought the right sonic finish.

CHALK, a Belfast‑based duo of Ross Cullen (vocals, production) and Benedict Goddard (guitar, synth), has always blended 1970s–80s punk grit with 1990s rave energy. Crystalpunk cemented that hybrid sound, and “Get F*cked” continues the fusion, delivering a raw, high‑energy punch that feels both nostalgic and fresh.

The single arrives just as the band’s 2026 tour ramps up. Key dates include a headline show at the Electric Ballroom in Camden on 24 July—larger than any previous London venue for CHALK—followed by a slot at Lollapalooza in Chicago on 30 July. The tour will also feature a hometown support slot with IDLES at Custom House Square in Belfast on 26 August, and appearances at Stendhal Festival (Limavady, 4 July), Festival D’ete de Quebec (12 July), OFF Festival (Katowice, 8 August), Summer Well Festival (Buftea, 9 August), Canela Party (Malaga, 29 August), Leffingeleuren Festival (Oostende, 12 September), Cold Waves Festival (Texas, 18 September), Second Summer Festival (Toronto, 24‑26 September), and METRO Festival (Chicago, 27 September).

Releasing the single through independent label Alter Music keeps CHALK within the indie sector while the Kettama collaboration injects a notable electronic influence. The move could broaden the duo’s streaming footprint and festival visibility, positioning them for greater exposure across the UK and internationally.

“Get F*cked” is now available for streaming and download, and the music video can be viewed on the band’s official channels. Tickets for the Electric Ballroom and other tour dates are on sale through the band’s website and standard ticketing partners.
