Cherry Bomb Unveils Myriad Reflector Single and Announces First Solo Festival Set at All Things Go NYC

Cherry Bomb, the Los‑Angeles‑based solo project of MisterWives vocalist Mandy Lee, dropped the single "Myriad Reflector" on August 27 2026 and revealed that she will headline her first solo festival set at All Things Go: NYC on September 27 2026. The performance will slot into the festival’s inaugural all‑female lineup, which also features MUNA, Carly Rae Jepsen, Zara Larsson, Brandi Carlile, Lola Young, Grace Ives and hemlocke springs.

The track’s title pays homage to the original name for a disco ball. Lee explained that the song is built around a "myriad reflector"—hundreds of broken mirror fragments arranged to reflect light rather than cast shadows. The accompanying music video, directed by Matty Vogel, was shot on the New York City subway, a setting Lee described as a stand‑in for a disco ball that "brings together a constellation of individual fragments to create a single mosaic." Lee, who has fronted the indie‑pop band MisterWives since 2013, says the Cherry Bomb project is a return to her pre‑industry self. She cites Madonna and Blondie as influences and describes the sound as a blend of space disco, punk energy and diary‑style confessionals. In interviews she has called the project "not a reinvention – it’s a detonation." The single’s lyrics and production reflect that ethos, turning fractured memories into bright, cathartic energy.

All Things Go: NYC is the festival’s inaugural New York City edition, held at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens. The event has a history of championing women and LGBT artists, with an all‑female lineup in 2018 and a focus on gender balance in subsequent years. The September 27 set will mark Cherry Bomb’s first solo appearance at a festival, a milestone after more than a decade of touring with MisterWives.
