Oteil Burbridge and LaMP to Headline Four-Night Wish Benefit Tour in October 2026

When a Grammy‑winning bassist meets a Vermont trio, the result is a four‑night charity run that could change a child’s life.

Make‑A‑Wish chapters have announced a benefit concert series that will bring Oteil Burbridge and the Vermont‑based trio LaMP to audiences across the Northeast this October. The four‑night Wish Benefit Tour 2026 will run from October 6 to October 9, with each show raising funds to grant wishes for children with critical illnesses.

The tour, presented by Fiddlehead Brewing Company, will stop at Universal Preservation Hall in Saratoga Springs, New York; Higher Ground in Burlington, Vermont; Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn, New York; and Somerville Theatre in Somerville, Massachusetts. Pre‑sale registration opens Wednesday, July 29 at 10 a.m. Eastern. Fans who register receive a link that opens on July 29, 30, and 31 at 9:59 a.m. Eastern, before tickets go on general sale at 10 a.m. Eastern on July 31.

Burbridge, a two‑time Grammy‑winning musician, is best known for his long tenure with the Allman Brothers Band and as a founding member of Dead & Company. He has also performed with the Aquarium Rescue Unit and the Tedeschi Trucks Band. LaMP, formed in 2019, consists of drummer Russ Lawton, bassist Scott Metzger, and pianist Ray Paczkowski. The trio has released several studio and live albums and has played sold‑out shows across the United States.

“I’m so excited to share the stage with Russ, Ray and Scott on this upcoming run for such a great organization,” Burbridge said in a statement released by Make‑A‑Wish. “I’ve participated in Make‑A‑Wish since the Allman Brothers days but it has been a long time. This is a rare opportunity to join LaMP and see what flavor of musical brew we can conjure up. Don’t miss this one if you’re within striking distance.”

Scott Metzger added, “Oteil is what I call an X‑factor musician, meaning what he brings to the table can’t be put into words. Every time I’ve played with Oteil he’s been beyond thoughtful and generous as a collaborator, contributing creative ideas left and right. The fact that the four of us get to play together for the first time for a great cause like Make‑A‑Wish makes these shows that much more special. I have no doubt this is going to be an outrageous tour.”

Amy Cohen, co‑owner of Fiddlehead Brewing Company and a member of the Make‑A‑Wish Vermont and Northeast New York Board of Directors, noted the personal connection behind the event. “More than ten years ago, our son Noah received a wish, and we saw firsthand what it meant for him and for our whole family. In the middle of everything he was facing, it gave him something to look forward to and reminded all of us how much joy is still possible. To help grant that same joy for other children now, through the live music we love, is a full‑circle moment we will never forget,” she said.

Make‑A‑Wish Vermont & Northeast New York has granted nearly 3,500 wishes since 1986 and serves a 20,000‑square‑mile area that includes Vermont and 15 counties in Northeast New York. The organization operates from Wishing Spaces in Shelburne, Vermont and Saratoga Springs, New York. Make‑A‑Wish Massachusetts & Rhode Island has granted more than 11,000 wishes in its 40‑year history and is working to fulfill the wishes of 130 local children during the Summer of Wishes.
