Gibson Announces Fourth Garage: 9,000-Square-Foot Las Vegas Store Set for 2027
Gibson is turning Las Vegas into a guitar playground with the announcement of its fourth Garage—a 9,000‑square‑foot retail‑and‑performance complex slated to open in 2027 on the Strip’s Miracle Mile Shops.
The new venue will be the third Gibson Garage in the United States and the fourth worldwide, following Nashville’s 2023 launch, London’s 2024 store, and Miami’s September 10, 2026 opening. Gibson’s August 3, 2026 press release confirmed the plans and outlined the shop’s mix of core brands—Gibson, Epiphone, and Kramer—alongside Mesa/Boogie amplifiers, Maestro audio gear, and KRK studio monitors.
Inside the space, visitors will be able to try instruments on the spot, tour the company’s Made‑to‑Measure and Custom Shop work, and explore a dedicated Acoustic Murphy Lab Collection Room that documents the aging process for Gibson’s acoustic guitars. The store’s centerpiece will be a “first‑ever Les Paul ’59 Experience” room, a concept that has yet to be described in detail by the company. According to Gibson, the area will let guests dig into the history and construction of the 1959 Les Paul Standard, a model that has become a prized collector’s item.
The venue will also host live music performances and artist events, positioning the Garage as a hub for both retail and experiential engagement.
“Las Vegas is one of the most exciting entertainment destinations in the world, and the Gibson Garage Las Vegas will be designed to meet that energy at full volume,” said Anne Rohosy, interim CEO of Gibson. “This will be much more than a place to buy a guitar – it will be a place to play, discover, perform, connect and experience the Gibson legacy in a way that can only happen in Las Vegas.”
Robert Buchanan, vice president and general manager of Miracle Mile Shops, welcomed the project, noting that the store will sit next to Planet Hollywood and a lineup of boutique clothing and jewelry retailers. “Gibson is one of those brands that needs no introduction, and what they’re bringing to Las Vegas is more than a store,” he said.
The expansion follows Gibson’s recent announcement that the Miami Garage will open on September 10, 2026. The company has positioned the Garage concept as a way to embed its brand in local communities and to offer a physical retail presence that blends product sales with live performance and interactive experiences. The Las Vegas location will be the largest of the four, covering 9,000 square feet, and has been described by Gibson as the company’s “boldest” retail venture to date.
While the exact opening date for the Las Vegas Garage has not been released, the company has indicated that the venue will open sometime in 2027. No specific dates for grand‑opening events, artist appearances, or promotional activities have been announced. Gibson has also not disclosed a schedule for the first‑ever Les Paul ’59 Experience room or the acoustic Murphy Lab Collection Room.
In summary, Gibson’s fourth Garage will bring a comprehensive range of instruments and audio equipment to the Las Vegas Strip, offering customers the chance to play, learn, and experience the brand’s heritage in a setting that blends retail with live music. The venue is expected to open in 2027, with further details on opening events and programming to be announced by Gibson and Miracle Mile Shops in the coming months.
