Zach Top will release a two‑track single on August 21 that includes the song he first performed live at the Under The Big Sky Festival in Montana. The tracks, “Good Girls & Cowgirls” and “Other Side Of Hurtin’,” will be issued through the independent label Leo 33, the same company that released Top’s 2024 album Cold Beer & Country Music and his 2025 Grammy‑winning album Ain’t in It for My Health.
The debut of “Good Girls & Cowgirls” occurred during Top’s headlining set at the festival, which ran from July 17 to 19, 2026. All Country News reported that the crowd responded immediately to the new song, noting that the performance felt “like a country classic.” The artist confirmed the track’s official release date on Instagram, stating that it would be available digitally on August 21.
In addition to the digital drop, a limited edition 7‑inch vinyl version of the single will arrive on September 21. Fans can pre‑save the release on streaming platforms today. The vinyl edition will feature both songs on separate sides, following the traditional single format.
Top, who was born Zachary Dirk Top on September 26, 1997, began his career in 2019 and signed with Leo 33 in 2023. His work is known for a neotraditional country sound that blends classic influences with contemporary songwriting. The two new tracks continue that approach, with “Good Girls & Cowgirls” described by the artist as a nod to classic country themes.
The release follows Top’s recent success on the Billboard charts. His single “Bad Luck,” released in October 2022, reached the top forty on the Hot Country Songs chart in July 2024 and was certified gold by the RIAA.
