Spirit Music Expands Nashville Team with New VP of Business & Legal Affairs and Senior Director of Digital Marketing

Spirit Music announced on 22 June 2026 that Elizabeth Lombardi will join the Nashville office as Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs and that Taylor Perez will become Senior Director of Digital Marketing. Both hires are based at the company’s Nashville headquarters and are expected to strengthen the publisher’s business‑affairs and marketing capabilities as it continues to grow its global roster and catalog operations.

Lombardi comes to Spirit Music from Creative Artists Agency (CAA), where she handled business‑affairs matters for the agency’s talent roster. Prior to CAA, she worked in business‑affairs at BMG/BBR Music Group and as an entertainment attorney at Milom Crow Kelley Beckett Shehan PLC. Her experience includes negotiating publishing agreements, catalog deals and brand partnerships. In addition to her industry work, Lombardi serves as Vice Chair of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s Troubadour Society Advisory Council and teaches at Belmont University.

Perez brings a background in digital‑marketing strategy from two of Nashville’s largest record‑label groups. She previously held marketing roles at Big Machine Label Group and Warner Music Group, where she contributed to campaigns for artists such as Dan + Shay, Rascal Flatts and Ashley McBryde. Her skill set covers audience development, fan engagement and release strategy.

Spirit Music is an independent music publisher that partners with Lyric Capital Group. The Nashville office, established after the company’s 2014 acquisition of Cal IV Entertainment, has become a hub for the publisher’s expanding roster of songwriters and catalog acquisitions. The new hires are part of the publisher’s broader effort to deepen its presence in the U.S. market while maintaining its global reach.

The appointments signal Spirit Music’s intent to reinforce its core business functions. Lombardi will oversee publishing agreements, catalog acquisitions, brand partnerships and endorsement deals for the publisher’s roster. Perez will lead digital‑marketing initiatives, including audience development and release‑strategy campaigns. No additional statements have been released regarding future projects or timelines.

The moves come as Spirit Music continues to add new writers and expand its catalog. The Nashville team’s expanded leadership will support the publisher’s ongoing efforts to secure publishing rights, negotiate deals and promote its catalog across digital platforms.

With Lombardi and Perez on board, Spirit Music is positioned to strengthen its legal and marketing operations in Nashville, a city that remains a central node in the American music publishing ecosystem. The company’s partnership with Lyric Capital Group and its focus on global expansion suggest that the new hires will play a key role in driving the publisher’s growth strategy over the coming months.
