FKA Twigs Transforms O2 Arena into a Dance-Centric Celebration of Freedom

On 10 June 2026, English singer‑songwriter FKA Twigs delivered a high‑energy performance at London’s O2 Arena as part of the Body High Tour. The show, attended by roughly 20 000 fans, was the artist’s biggest‑ever headline appearance in the United Kingdom.

The concert opened with Twigs’ signature blend of avant‑pop and experimental electronic music. The crowd’s enthusiasm was palpable: a woman in a silver bodysuit performed a handstand while the audience sang along, and another attendee was moved to tears during the ballad “Mary Magdalene.” Twigs encouraged the audience to embrace “unadulterated pleasure and freedom,” a theme that has been central to her recent work.

Eusexua, the third studio album that launched on 24 January 2025 through Young and Atlantic Records, is the creative foundation for the tour. Twigs has described the album’s title as a “state of being” that captures a momentary transcendence evoked by art, music, sex, and unity. The record received widespread critical acclaim, earned her first Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Album at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards, and was nominated for the Mercury Prize.

The Body High Tour began on 14 March 2026 in Miami and has since visited venues across North America and Europe. The tour schedule includes 22 shows, concluding on 12 June 2026 in Berlin. Opening acts for the tour are Brutalismus 3000, Eartheater, Izzy Spears, Tokischa, and Yves Tumor. The London leg of the tour, which started on 4 June 2026 in Copenhagen, also featured stops in Amsterdam, Paris, and the O2 Arena.

The O2 Arena, a 20 000‑seat venue in south‑London, is one of the city’s most prominent concert halls. Its capacity and state‑of‑the‑art facilities have made it a frequent choice for large‑scale performances. Twigs’ appearance marked a significant moment for the arena, as it was her first headline show there and the largest audience she has drawn in the UK.

The concert’s atmosphere reflected Twigs’ emphasis on freedom and self‑expression. During the set, she repeatedly urged the audience to “feel more, feel everything,” a call that resonated with the crowd’s active participation. The performance also highlighted the album’s themes of liberation from societal constraints, a message that has been reinforced in interviews and press releases.

Following the show, Twigs’ team confirmed that the Body High Tour will continue to promote both Eusexua and its sequel, Eusexua Afterglow, which was released on 14 November 2025. The tour’s schedule remains unchanged, with the final European dates slated for early July.

In summary, FKA Twigs’ 10 June performance at the O2 Arena showcased her continued commitment to experimental pop and dance music, while reinforcing the album’s message of freedom. The show was a milestone for both the artist and the venue, and the Body High Tour is set to conclude in Berlin on 12 June 2026.
