Vans Launches Second Travis Barker Collection on June 18, Featuring White Old Skool and New Apparel

Vans announced on Monday that its second collaboration with Blink‑182 drummer Travis Barker will launch next week. The new capsule, scheduled to go live on Thursday, June 18, includes a reworked Old Skool sneaker and a line of apparel that carries Barker’s signature slogans. The partnership follows a series of earlier joint projects that highlighted the shared Southern California heritage of both the brand and the artist.

The centerpiece of the collection is the Vans × Travis Barker Old Skool sneaker. The shoe arrives in a pristine white canvas upper with a pre‑scuffed finish and black accents. A “Dues Paid” emblem is printed on the vamp, while a barbed‑wire motif decorates the foxing. The upper is completed with cotton laces, and the heel and tongue feature the drummer’s logo. The design echoes Barker’s long‑standing affinity for skate and punk aesthetics.

The apparel line carries two slogans that reflect Barker’s personal ethos. A scripted “Dues Paid” appears on the sleeve, while a “Self Made” phrase is printed on the back panel of each garment. The designs are intended to convey the artist’s narrative of perseverance and self‑definition. The collection’s aesthetic is described by Vans as zine‑like punk graphics that celebrate a DIY spirit and challenge conventional norms.

The campaign for the capsule was shot by photographer and brand curator Atiba Jefferson. It features a roster of musicians and friends, including The Paradox, N8NOFACE, Tim Armstrong of Rancid and The Transplants, Missy of Mannequin Pussy, and Dani Miller of Surfbort. The images were captured at a Chicago music festival and on the streets of Los Angeles, underscoring the cross‑regional appeal of the partnership.

Vans highlighted the collection’s roots in Southern California culture, noting that Barker’s upbringing in Fontana exposed him to skateboarding, BMX, and punk shows. Barker said in a statement that “My first pair of shoes was a pair of Vans,” adding that the brand has been a staple of his daily wardrobe since his youth. He described the partnership as an easy decision because of his long‑standing admiration for the brand.

The release follows a string of earlier Vans‑Barker collaborations. In March, Barker appeared alongside SZA, Hayley Williams, and other artists in a campaign celebrating Vans’ 60th anniversary of the Authentic sneaker. In November, Barker drove a checkered Vans shoe car at the Run Travis Run event, a stunt that coincided with the launch of his first capsule earlier that month.

The Vans × Travis Barker capsule will be available for purchase starting Thursday, June 18, through Vans.com and select Vans retail locations. The collection will also be sold via Journeys.com and in participating Journeys stores. Fans and consumers can expect the same price point and limited availability as previous releases, though exact retail pricing has not been disclosed.

The collaboration underscores Vans’ strategy to align with artists who embody skate and punk heritage while expanding its product range. By integrating Barker’s distinctive visual motifs and street‑wear sensibilities, the brand aims to reinforce its position as a cultural touchstone for youth subcultures. The partnership also reflects Barker’s ongoing role as a fashion influencer, having previously launched apparel lines and music‑related merchandise.
