Dasha, Carrie Underwood, and Other Country Stars Mark Milestones at Nashville Events

Nashville’s music scene turned its collective spotlight on a string of high‑profile moments this week, all set against the vibrant backdrop of the 2026 CMA Fest. From streaming milestones and wellness launches to charitable fund‑raising and songwriting education, the city’s venues buzzed with activity that highlighted the reach and versatility of its country talent.

During the CMA Fest weekend, Dasha Logan was awarded her first Spotify Billions Club plaque at Spotify House. The honor celebrates the artist’s breakout single “Austin (Boots Stop Workin’),” which surpassed one billion streams on the platform in November 2025. The plaque was presented in front of a packed audience of festival attendees and industry professionals, underscoring Logan’s growing influence. Earlier in the week, country superstar Carrie Underwood surprised shoppers at Nashville’s 12 South Farmers Market with a pop‑up truck for her new wellness brand, HiNote. Underwood offered samples of HiNote Everyday Energy Daily Nutrition Drink Mix—a caffeine‑free, sugar‑free blend that delivers 20 g of protein, 5 g of fiber, and the nutrients of 13 fruits and vegetables. The brand, announced in May 2026, gave fans a chance to taste the product and chat directly with the singer.

The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s Songwriting Camp, aimed at beginner‑to‑intermediate writers, welcomed Tenille Townes as a guest artist. Townes answered questions about her career and performed two of her own songs, “The Acrobat” and “Somebody’s Daughter.” The event is part of the museum’s ongoing efforts to nurture songwriting talent. Meanwhile, the 12th Annual Craig Campbell Celebrity Cornhole Challenge in Nashville raised more than $35,000 for The Kenny Campbell Foundation. Participants included Waka Flocka, Thompson Square, Allie Colleen, Lewis Brice, and Gracee Shrivers, among others. Campbell thanked the fans and volunteers, saying, “I’m blown away by the generosity of our fans and by the incredible group of celebrities and volunteers who made this happen. The phone kept ringing, and texts kept dinging from artists who wanted to participate. This was just incredible.”

In a surprise collaboration, Kenny Whitmire joined pop‑artist Charlie Puth on stage at Ascend Amphitheatre for Puth’s Nashville headline show. The duo performed Whitmire’s viral track “I Gave Her The Moon,” and Puth expressed excitement about Whitmire’s future appearances. On the publishing front, Belmont University graduate Parker Fuller accepted the role of Creative Coordinator at Young Guns Publishing. Fuller, who previously interned for Creative Nation and SMACKSongs and participated in BMI’s 2026 Catalog Cast program, was welcomed by EVP Laura Alexander, who praised her enthusiasm for the industry. Finally, Larry Fleet announced the launch of the Little Fleet sponsorship program, designed to support youth baseball and softball teams. The program’s first season will sponsor the Kingsmen Baseball Club in Canton, North Carolina, and the Newark Braves Softball team in Newark, West Virginia. Fleet explained the initiative’s purpose, stating, “Baseball was a huge part of my childhood, and some of my best memories were made on those fields with teammates, coaches and family cheering us on. Not every kid gets the opportunity to play because of the costs that come with it, so if we can help take a little bit of that burden off families and give these kids the chance to make those same memories, then that’s something I’m proud to be a part of. I hope Little Fleet continues to grow and gives more young ballplayers the chance to chase their dreams.”

These events illustrate the breadth of activity in Nashville’s music community, from streaming milestones and brand launches to charitable fund‑raising, songwriting education, and youth sports sponsorship. Each initiative highlights how artists and industry professionals are leveraging their platforms to celebrate achievements, support causes, and nurture the next generation of talent.
