1953: Wonderful Town: One Hundred Easy Ways
- The incomparable writing duo of Betty Comden and Adolph Green won their first Best Musical Tony Award with Wonderful Town. My junior year of college I did a research paper and presentation on the brilliance that is this writing team, and senior year I got to perform a duet from this show. Although I love it, it isn’t as well known as some of the other musicals on this list. My favorite song is One Hundred Easy Ways. This hilarious number is sung by Ruth Sherwood who sings about her expertise on her inability to to keep a man.
